For years, the ruling classes have controlled the media narrative on the labor movement. They choose to platform a disproportionate amount of writing from an upper middle class experience, writing which at best marginalises the working class people and at worst vilifies them. We at Hard Ball Press believe working people must tell our own stories, to announce to the world the value we produce, the sacrifices we make, and that we have voices that matter.
